Dear Friends,
It’s hard to believe that we have already completed two weeks of the 2008 Season, but time flies when your having fun. We had a busy 10 days getting the lodge ready for our first visitors but since 80% of the staff are old hands, as in the staff photo’s, we were up and running in no time. All we needed was fish!
The King Salmon run arrived right on schedule and our guests got into some good fish as you can see from the following pictures. Many of the fisheries in Alaska have not been as productive as ours and we are counting our blessings.
Our Red Salmon run has also been above average as you can tell from the smiles on the angler’s face.
In addition to the Kings and Reds, we have had some great early season Rainbow Trout fishing.
